Fendi

The House

Adele and Edoardo Fendi opened a fur and leather workshop in Rome in 1925, and their five daughters later grew it into a fashion house.

In 1965 they brought in Karl Lagerfeld, who created the double-F logo and stayed for more than fifty years. The Baguette bag arrived in 1997, and Fendi has been part of fashion's conversation ever since.

“It's not a bag, it's a Baguette.”
— Silvia Venturini Fendi
